Through Feb. 28th, if you spend $20 on magazines at Amazon.com, you'll receive a code for $10 off a future purchase. Details HERE. Remember, magazines always ship free and Amazon always has several $5 magazine deals.

On a not really related note--What do you think of THESE? I saw them while browsing Amazon and I *may* have squealed out loud. Unfortunately, my man is not a shoe guy, we don't do fancy restaurants or go to clubs, so I don't really have any reason to wear them....but.....sigh Too much for a homeschool group meeting or a field trip or a trip to Target? No? Thanks, I didn't think so either. lol

Magazine Deals

Crystal at Money Saving Mom has details HERE on how to get Taste of Home, Family Fun, and Everyday with Rachel Ray magazines for $3.99/ year. You can order 1-4 years at that rate and can use Paypal for extra security. You can sign up for Tanga deals in your inbox or say 'no, thank you'.

Thanks, Money Saving Mom! This is a great deal.

XPlor magazine for kids

XPlor is a new magazine from the MO Conservation Department. The magazine is for kids and is free for MO residents ($5 for everyone else). Sign your kids up HERE.

$5 magazines at Amazon

Amazon has $5 magazine subscription deals each week. You can tell it's January, because this week I found:
EatingWell
Fitness (1-year)
Yoga Journal
Vegetarian Times (1-year)
Backpacker [1-year]

Using my saved up Amazon GCs from Swagbucks, I'm ordering Eating Well for my favorite price - free! Yay!

ESPN Magazine $5

Magazines.com

Magazines.com offers magazines subscriptions below retail price. While I prefer the price of *FREE*, cheap is good, too. Some magazines just never pop up for free and a cheaper magazine subscription makes a great gift idea.

I recommend you sign up to receive updates and special offers via email (don't use your 'real' email, use an 'offers/newsletters' email). I receive three types of emails from Magazines.com:
#1-offers that highlight a sale on a particular magazine
#2-offers that have a $5 gift card code, some for a particular magazine and some for any

Best of All
#3-$5 Gift Card that I can use on the site or receive in cash.

The first time I received the email that said I could cash in the code, I was doubtful. However, it is legit. I got a $5 check a month or so later. Hello, Starbucks! lol

If you decide not to receive the check, $5 off the already lower prices can make a subscription very cheap and in some cases free. Whoo hooo, Free! ;-)

Amazon $5 magazines

I love getting magazines subscriptions for my favorite price aka free, but $5 is pretty cheap. Amazon currently has each of these magazine subscriptions priced at $5.

Family Fun

House Beautiful

Marie Claire (2 yrs)

Redbook (2 yrs)

Seventeen (2 yrs)

Womens Health

If the price on the site is higher, you will receive a credit at check out that drops it to $5.

Southern Living magazine

Through Sat., Aug 29th, Amazon has a one year subscription to Southern Living magazine for just $5, a savings of 92%! HERE Too bad it doesn't come with a pitcher of sweet tea.

Magazines always ship free and can help you get over $25 to get free shipping on the rest of your order. If you have a $5 Amazon gift card courtesy of Swagbucks, this subscription is totally free. Nice!

O Magazine

Go HERE to sign up for a free 5 month subscription to O Magazine. This one will likely go very quickly. If you get in, you will receive Aug-Dec. There's no obligation to continue beyond that, no subscription to cancel, and no automatic renewal. You will probably get something saying 'if you've enjoyed the magazine, you can continue for $X' from the publisher, but you are not obligated to continue. Free magazines rock! 8^D

Lego Magazine

Sign up here for a free two year subscription to Lego magazine. My boys love this magazine. There are photos of Lego creations, games, ads for Lego sets (which helps with the birthday wish list) and pics of creations by other kids.
