Target GC for frozen items

This week there are two different regional offers at Target. Check your area to see which applies to you.
*Some areas received the offer to buy any seven items from the freezer section and receive a free freezer bag.

Since the offer is for 'any seven items', you can pick up whatever you need, like, have coupons for, or is super cheap. Frozen juice concentrate is under $1. Don't forget that you can double up on coupons (manu+Target) to get an even better deal.

On a not really related note--What do you think of THESE? I saw them while browsing Amazon and I *may* have squealed out loud. Unfortunately, my man is not a shoe guy, we don't do fancy restaurants or go to clubs, so I don't really have any reason to wear them....but.....sigh Too much for a homeschool group meeting or a field trip or a trip to Target? No? Thanks, I didn't think so either. lol

Cheap Calendars

I just returned from my local Michaels. They still had quite a large number of 2011 calendars and they are now 70% off. They were originally priced at $1, so are now 30 cents. If you still need a calendar, stop by your Michaels. I've heard of people framing some of the pretty pictures for cheap wall art, using them for collages, and using them to wrap small gifts.

National Pancake Day -- 3/1

One of my kids' favorite just for fun holidays is National Pancake Day. For those not yet in the know, that's the day that IHOP gives each customer a short stake of pancakes for free. They ask that you donate to Children's Miracle Network, but it's not required for the short stack. My kids love to eat the pancakes and drop our donation into the box at the register after our meal. Hmm, help kids *and* eat pancakes? No wonder we love this JFF holiday! This year, IHOP's goal is to raise $2.3 million. The date is March 1st. Stop by between 7 am and 10 pm to participate.

Those who know us personally already know that another fave JFF holiday is Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2nd. I just had Son2 remind me that it's coming up. Yes, we have green eggs and ham for dinner that night. I am going to be The Best Mom EVAH ... for those two days in March anyway. ;-D

Don't forget another fun JFF holiday in March....Pi Day! This year it's on a Monday. Quiche (aka baked egg pie) and pie for dinner? Great way to start the week!
