Best Deal Magazines

Best Deal Magazines
Always cheaper magazine subscriptions, but this week they have a Deal of the Day:

6/29 Body & Soul $6.49
6/30 Game Informer $5.29
7/1 Men's Journal $4.29
7/2 Consumer Reports $19.95 (goodness, what's the regular price???)
7/3 Yoga Journal $5.29
7/4 Family Handyman $5.29
7/5 Bridal Guide $3.69

Offers expire at midnight EST each day.

My favorite price for magazines is free, but cheap is good, too.

Toys R Us

Toddler Diva has a birthday soon, so we went to Toys R Us in Sunset Hills. They had lots of toys and games on clearance, but also had 20% off the clearance prices. I don't know how long the extra sale will last, but you can get some great deals if you look carefully. The clearance stuff was up front, in an aisle near the baby clothes and learning electronics AND mixed in here and there all over the store. Other locations are likely running the same sale, but call first.

We also signed up for Rewards R Us. Accumulate $150 in purchases in store or online, receive a coupon for $5.

Bare Escentuals sample

Go here to print a coupon for a 10 day sample of Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Matte Foundation and a baby buki brush at Sephora inside JCPenney. One per person, while supplies last. BUT if they run out, they will give you a sample of anything else. Now, that's customer service and a great freebie coupon. Not to mention the baby buki brush is adorable. I'll probably have to fight the Toddler Diva for it, but I might win...maybe.

Swagbucks

I just won another buck on Swagbucks and realized I had never shared the info about this program. Do you know about it already? If yes, you can skip this post. If not, read on.....

Swagbucks is a site powered by Google that randomly awards Swag Bucks for searching through the site. Bucks are then traded for prizes. I'm sitting on 98 points right now. Among other things, that equals $10 at amazon plus a few Bucks left over. The search results are the same as if you go through Google, but it's a fun little surprise when you get the 'You've just won ___ Swag Bucks' message at the top of your search result. I usually get 1 or 2 Bucks, but have won 5 on a couple of occasions.....and, yes, I squealed with glee. It's the little things.

If you use this link to check it out and sign up, I win Bucks when you win Bucks. Yay! Then, tell your friends/family/strangers and you'll win Bucks when they win Bucks. If you don't want me to win Bucks when you do 8^( sniff sniff use this link. Either way, have fun earning Bucks for searching! When I win a Buck I always think of the Chuck E. Cheese ticket muncher - "What big prize are you saving for?" Yes, I'm a little off, but I'm harmless.

Could be a cheap date night, grab a coffee (iced, please) in the Cafe, look for cheap books. Coffee, books, time with my man? Sounds terrific to me!

It would also be a great GNO....any takers? It's cheaper than martinis and nachos! ;-)

Free at Target

I love Target...and I love free...so free at Target is wonderful!

#1 Johnson Buddies soap - These adorable soaps for 'kids' are in the baby section. They are priced at .97 or .99 and if you use a $1 of any Johnson baby care item, it's free. Every time I get one of those coupons, we pick up a soap on our next trip to 'The Red Store'. It's a bar of soap that's in a mesh cover so it isn't so slippery - perfect for the Toddler Diva to wash herself.

#2 Banana Boat sunscreen - Time to hit the travel size aisle for this one. The travel size sunscreen is $1 and there are coupons for $1 off ANY Banana Boat sunscreen product. Since it doesn't specify size, you can pick up one of these little tubes for your purse or glove box for free. So far, we have three in the park bag and vans. Never know when you'll come across an empty playground lol and want to stop and play. Toddler Diva's so pale sunblock is a must!

#3 Johnson First Aid kit - Stay in the travel section. There is a small first aid kit there in a white box (top row of baskets at my Target). It has a few band aids, wipes, gauze. It's also $1 and there are coupons for $1 off ANY Johnson first aid product. Now, you can't sew an arm back on with this little kit, but for a scrape at the playground (see item #2 above) it's perfect. For free it's a must for the Momobile imho. I got two, one for each van. Hopefully we never need them, but with three kids? Someday I'm sure I'll be glad it's in the van.

Wed. 6/10 Arby's Deal

June 10th- Free Roast Chicken Club with soft drink purchase

Looks like a great after VBC lunch!

Wehrenberg SMC

Wehrenberg has free movies on Wed. & Thurs. at 10 am. The schedule varies depending on the theatre, so check here. Seating is first come, first served. We've gone many times before and never been turned away, but you have to get there *early*. Be advised many day care groups use this as a field trip and bring lots of kids.

They are selling a 'Kids Combo' at the concession stand for $4.50 and you can order that in advance for one movie or for all. Buying the 'Combo' (no details on site what is in it, I'm guessing small popcorn, soda, candy) reserves your seat for the day/movie you buy the combo for. Sneaky way to buy tickets in advance, but not as cheap as a free movie.

Thanks, Jill, for the heads up and link!
